Tuesday night is the last night we will be staying at the park in south Casa Grande. It’s time to move. The “last supper” was spent at Toni and Doug’s. Toni fixed lasagna and I threw together a salad for dinner. It was a great evening. The weather is still perfect for eating outside. However, after the sun goes down it does get a little chilly. We stayed outside as long as we could but eventually had to go inside to warm up.
Our move isn’t too far north but every little bit helps. It’s about 15 miles closer to everything but we’re still thinking it’s not close enough. The park we have been at in Casa Grande has some super nice people. Most are very friendly but it’s a little too far out for us. We have found being close to a major city offers more things to see and do. This little town is about 45 miles south of the metropolitan area of Phoenix.
Monday we went into “town” to do a little Christmas shopping. We could have done it in Casa Grande but the stores we wanted to visit were 50 miles away! Then, Tuesday we made another trip into “town” at another 100 miles round trip. At that rate the cost of fuel will more than eat up any savings at a park.
So, for the next few days we’ll still be sitting in Casa Grande but just a little closer in. However, it’s still a long ways out. After that, we’re hoping to make another move to a place that’s right in the center of activity …. wherever that is at.
Not too far please (:
ReplyDeleteI would like to be able to stop the pictures at the bottom so I could see the younger Terry and Jeri.
Isn't the weather just absolutely perfect? However, the wind has come back today and I'm not happy about that.
