Thanksgiving rolls around every year. It is celebrated on the 4th Thursday of November. It is the day of a big feast and celebration. It is a day to be thankful for the many things in your life. The first Thanksgiving began years ago with the Pilgrims. What were they thankful for? Like us, they were thankful for many things. They were thankful for the possibilities of religious freedom and thankful for the beginning of their dreams. Even though they did not have much, they were thankful for what they had.

I’m thankful for many things. My list would go on and on so I’ll just list a few things I’m thankful for. First of all, I’m thankful for God and for the wonderful family I have. Those are my top two things I am thankful for. However, I have many more reasons to be thankful. Here are just a few. I’m thankful to be able to have food to eat, water to drink, a warm place to sleep, transportation to take us where we want to go, eyes to see, ears to hear …. you know the rest there. I’m thankful to be able to read and write and think. I’m thankful for many good friends and for being in the United States of America. I’m thankful to be able to enjoy this life as an RVer.

I’m thankful I have you …. and the list goes on for the many things I’m thankful for.
