No sooner had we arrived home Monday from the Ethel M. Chocolate factory did we turn around and head back out. Our mission – to check out a few more fantastic casinos on The Strip. We weren’t planning on donating at the casinos. We felt like kids at Disneyland. There was so much to see that we hadn’t seen. The plan was to spend just a few hours each day just checking out the inside of a couple casinos. That’s a humungous job. This is just a little of what we saw.

Another Treasure Island pirate ship
Magnificent sidewalk view
Gondolas cruise the waterways inside the Venetian
Overview of small portion of The Strip.
The only thing missing from Venice was the pigeons and their droppings.
Check-in at the Sistine Chapel .. kinda

At the Eiffel Tower
And, here's Ed enjoying Fremont Street
I used to wonder what people saw in Vegas. Now I know. It's just like I said above... it's almost like being at Disneyland. If you stayed away from the slot machine, most of what we've seen and done has been free. I could actually go on vacation here! Wait! We are on vacation here!
Tuesday we decided to take a break from The Strip … maybe. However, we still have lots to see.
My friend got married on that pirate ship at Treasure Island. Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteEEEEEE Gads...Paul and I haven't been there in so long nothing looked familiar. Maybe next winter we will head to AZ and up that way to Oregon and Washington.
ReplyDeleteIt's obvious from your pictures that I need to get my Segway working again before I try to see Vegas. :)
ReplyDeleteGlitz! Glitz! Glitz! Overwhelming just from the pictures. We have never been.
