Democracy is the process by which people choose the man who'll get the blame.
You just have to check out our current location. See the front of the coach on the left. That’s how close we are. Now check out all the people on the beach just in front of us. Are you jealous yet? I certainly would be if you were here and I wasn’t.
We didn’t do a lot on Sunday. The big feat of the day was driving 35 miles from where we were parked at the Elks in Oceanside to our new location on San Diego Bay. We sat outside and basked in the beautiful sunshine while we watched the boats and wiggled our toes in the sand. It wasn’t a tough day.
Dinner time rolled around and we barbecued some perfect choice steaks and watched TV and the sailboats. Like I said, it wasn’t too tough of a day.
Evening came and we took one more walk in the sand with Duchess. We’ll just have to see what Monday brings. For some reason I think it just might be more of the same. This place just might do for the next couple of weeks. What do you think?
Actually, the location is under construction. It was closed for a while and only recently reopened to dry camping. They are still laying out the full hookup sites and not sure when that will be available. In the meantime, it's working just fine. There's a laundry, free showers and a little store.
We were jealous when we read the title...Coronado is on our list and this place sounds like just the place for us to camp out. Any special instructions!
ReplyDeleteSorry, I meant "Any special directions"?
ReplyDeleteWhy is dad turned around eatting? Shouldn't he be facing the other way to enjoy the view.....LOL
ReplyDeleteSince we are having such a beautiful day today I'm not quite as jealous as I would have been three days ago in the pouring rain.
