The road to success is dotted with many tempting parking places.
We definitely know that accidents happen. We don’t want them to happen to anyone but we also definitely know that we don’t want them to happen to us.
Sometimes in a motorhome you may think you’re safer without a seatbelt. That’s not necessarily true.
It’s important to try to stay on the road. There are many hazards to contend with if driving on the shoulder.
Sometimes going a little too fast can cause this. Sometimes going a little too slow can too.

We may think we fit. We still may fit but the satellite antenna just installed may not.
Those overhangs are way too low.

Well, this was a cheerful reminder. But it is way too true. All it takes is for two seconds (maybe only 1) before this big motorhome has veered somewhere it shouldn't. Be safe out there.

ReplyDeleteI read Bob and Linda blog and felt so sorry for them when I saw the pictures. Paul and I have a check list we go through. We double check each other also.
ReplyDeleteThe rest of the story for the Motosat dish crumpled on our coach. Today, almost five weeks later, we are in Goshen IN and Bill Adams of Internet Anywhere is replacing most of the parts on the roof. We now religiously check our checklist!
ReplyDeleteNot that any of these are funny but...one time back in stix and brix days, I saw a motorhome stuck in a car wash in the winter. He got in but after he had washed he built up the ice on the floor and couldn't get out. Didn't stick around to see how they fixed that. 100's of blow dryers?
